The Department of Budget and Management has implemented the 3rd Tranche of salary increase way ahead of the July 1 schedule set during the Arroyo administration. This brought another 12% increase in teachers pay. The salary increase started in 2007 with 10% during the time of Pres. Gloria Macapagal Arroyo. In July 1, 2009, the 4-year salary standardization plan was started. This increased the salary grade of teachers by one grade and increased the salaries by 12% across the board. Last year, the 2nd Tranche took effect in June 24.
With this increase, the Diclum Elementary School would now receive around 5 million pesos annual budget for its personnel services.
