Close your eyes and imagine.
Hear the noise you used to have then.

And that jack fruit there?

Going out on the same road you used to walk upon..
How many cracks does it have now?

Let's go and buy ice candy at Iganay's store.

Bagong Lipunan L-II Bldg. houses
Grade V-C, V-P and Principal's Office.
Yes...still the same sections but don't look for
 Ma'am dela Cruz or Ma'am Sally..not even Ma'am Yao-co

Marcos Pre-fab Bldg

during the grade 6 days.

And by the way, what is that? The stage? dali ma tagsi kita....

Where we used to have a swaying tree house (1992-1998)
now stands a water facility.

Look at that Mabolo tree now on the left?

Remember this area?
It's a forest now.

Missed this view?
Standing from your former Grade IV classroom

Oh, Sir Camilo Pelingon is no longer here...
but the mango and gumamela are still standing by the door.

Missed that sign?
It's the same sign you've seen for the last 20 years.
Just got repainted.

Missed having garden here?
Whew...it's no longer a fashion now.

Dali, may bunga ang lumboy?

Oh that tree? The tree house isn't there now.
That was 70s.

Hello Ma'am Sally?

Getting in the campus.
This used to be where the school garden is.
Re-landscaped in 1999.

Missed those golden coconuts? hmm that's why we keep them there.

Pungko ako anay rugya sa mabolo bala...lantaw lang anay jan.

Same plants growing after 40 years.
And that canal? Still bears its donors: Grade VI Class '65.

The pond? hmm no more crabs ma'am.

It's the same room where  you used to see
Miss Sebelleno, Miss Sarabia, Sir Nones,
Ma'am Tarroja, Sir Gaitero and who else?
hmm Mr. Magos? Mrs. Leonarda Pelingon?
Oh really? that's 60's...

It just got tiles now.

See the trophies?
One there says, Champion in Basketball, Provincial Meet 1955...
Where you here then?

Oh yes...the H.E...missed cooking?
with Ma'am Demetria or Ma'am Erispe?

Well...who were the other h.e. teachers here?
it's been there since 1952.. Just after the war.

well, nothing changed much.
the fountain you used to have in 1960s to 70s
just got bigger...

but the lawn got smaller...sorry, we have to build a covered area.
the USAID can no longer donate us a tent eh...hehe

it's different now.

Microscope Study of the grade five class.
Yes...we go with the time.

Wherever you are today,
keep those  memories alive in you.

The Diclum Elementary School,
your former teachers and classmates
